I don't recall how it was handled, but WABE-FM, Atlanta Board of
Education, moved their transmitter from Atlanta to the tower atop Stone Mountain,
Georgia. They installed a new DA antenna and a 40 kW. Transmitter. The signal
within the Atlanta market from the day theu moved was bad. I don't know how
long but they later abandonded the site at Stone Mountain and moved back to
the city. I don't rceall iof they moved to their old site or a new tower
located in town.
