[BC] Arrays separated by highways

The former WKYD (originally WCTA) at Andalusia, Alabama, was a sight to see.
The three tower array had US Highway 84 running through it. The towers were
spaced 180 degrees (at 920), and tower 3 was located on the other side of
the highway, with tower 2 guyed in the highway median.

The old highway bypassed the site, but the highway department decided to do
a four-laned bypass, and that's the way it ended up.

It's all gone now. Towers 2 and 3 were taken down about 10 years ago...they
were old Windchargers, and they not not been maintained. The station went
from 500w DA-N, to some miniscule night power (it was 5kw omni daytime), and
then finally surrendered the license.
