I used one for the same purpose a while ago at a station in Canton, 
don't know if it's still there or not, Gary Z. may still have the manual 
hiding somewhere down there. You adj. the drive control for the amount 
of clipping you want (as little as possible in my case - overshoot 
control only - just tickling the led's) and then adj. the mod. pot for 
your mod level into the xmit or whatever. Worked OK if not driven hard, 
like most composite clippers. Good luck with it,
