I posted that since, IIRC, we just had a discussion here a few weeks back about VU
meters, how they came to be, and how Ma Bell played a role.  I've been doing some
research lately, for amusement, about how the phone company handled network distribution,
and just acquired that PDF file.  Seemed like a good time to share it.
