Remember as well the fine levied against a Miami staiton that broadcast a  
telephone conversation where their host managed to convince Castro that he  
was talking to his favorite lap-dog, Venezuela's President Chavez.

The real, bottom-line lesson to this discussion is that is reveals once  
again how much power we have abdicated to these un-elected regulators.

Let's have the FCC fine an NPR affiliate (then get repaid with Federal  
dollars), then fine ABC--and then have someone at ABC take the regulators  
to task for protecting the folks who create telephone hell.

Everytime you shine a bright light on the FCC regulators they will scurry  
away like roaches.
