Glen -
Have no fear of that - Stanley is an antique radio collector (remember that
his original message stated the period in which the 540A was in
production). He was unable to find any information about the speaker in any
of the usual antique radio schematic repositories (Rider, Beitman, Sams)
and so was asking on the list.
I've been in many stations that had an antique radio in the lobby, but none
with a '20s battery set suitable for use with a 540A. :)
