  Just a thought...clean the fuseholders with something like a fine crocus cloth, and then coat them with some of the CAIG metal cleaners/preservatives.
   
  Might keep things in good low resistance contact to avoid heat buildup.  CAIG Deoxit comes to mind, tho they have quite a line of electronic chemicals.
   
  Might also look at the electrical supply places for the anti-corrodant they used between copper and aluminum...kinda a grease.  Might work.
