These are stereo and are multicast capable.  I have been listening to 
our 3 HD channels on it today so I know it works.

The stereo is with an outboard speaker so the unit CAN be a mono 
table radio. It has menu settings to do that. It is a very good 
sounding radio and I have been impressed with the selectivity of the 
radio especially on AM. I can't say I am real impressed with the 
sensitivity- It is just OK. I expected better.

I stumbled into a tech menu where you can upgrade the software in the 
unit and it appears to have a split mode setting. I don't know if 
that means split mode for time aligning- It is only available under 
the secret tech mode-

Hold down the clock button for 20 seconds.
