I don't have the link handy at the moment, but I've seen a web page that confirms that--
in fact, it says that CBS had to repurchase a couple of quad machines in order to do the
work, since they had none left.  CBS did the transfers on the *entire* Goodson-Todman 
game show library--thousands and thousands of hours. Evidently, G-T kept darn near 
everything, as evidenced by the fact that "Beat The Clock", "What's My Line", and other
50's G-T classics are staples on GSN.
