[BC] NEW FCC COMMISH

I never said they didn't but usually they are not so blatant about it.
It reminds me of a visit from the director of the National Police from a
country that will remain unnamed.
I brought him and his entourage, including the agent for the company where I
worked at the time, to the Smith and Wesson factory over in Massachusetts.
They had a large order with them and there was a problem so the director
wanted to "negotiate".
I made the arrangements we went over. We met with the VP of International
Sales and the President of the company.
Much to the surprise of everyone, he began the discussions in the office of
the President of S&W
His bottom line was they could do the laser engraving Vs Manual and their
usual site vs. the special one he had speced but only if they agreed to ship
several top of the line handguns to his personal attention for his private
collection.
The shock to all of us was how overt he was, gutsy enough to do the deal in
front of his underlings as well as our agent and me. With a care less
attitude.
Usually these deals are done behind closed doors for obvious reasons.
Likewise politicians usually take care of their friends, but not quite a
blatantly obvious as the Bush man.
