I was mistaken. There were two transmitters and a high level 
combiner. I happened to read a copy of Radio Guide when I got home. I 
saw the Continental ad for a single box and ads for separate 
antennas. The station had a BE and a Harris. There appear to be so 
many ways to do IBUZ that I combined the stations two transmitters 
into one in my head. That's why the bedroom was full of smoke when I woke up.

I've been told that the single box approach allows higher power for 
both modes. In the case of the station I visited, the difference in 
power between modes was very, significant.
