Annoying credit squeezes (was: Re: [BC] Match Game)

I really can't read the credits, especially those at the end of
theatrical releases when they're squeezed.  Its almost an annoyance -
especially when you're trying to find the name of an actor or a
song credit.

It begs the question:  if the credits can't be read, did they
really run at all?

I've had the same discussion with production directors on the radio
end - with "disclaimers" on auto ads that are sometimes read so
fast, you really can't understand whats being said.

If you can't hear/understand it, did it really run?
