[BC] Administrivia: one problem begets another

Unfortunately, as some of you know, we are seeing more issues lately
with spam and blackhole lists, and several domains, including hotmail
are currently difficult.

On top of this, it appears that mailman has been "rejecting" some
posts with the {Spam} in the Subject line, but instead of the "Your
message had a suspicious header" ... it seems to be sending "no reason given"

At this moment, the cause for this is unknown.

The problem is that so many filters get their knickers in a twist
over the very word Spam, that we risk having radiolists.net stuck on
a list if we don't try to prevent it as often as possible.

Since it takes about an hour or so a day to go deal with the BC list
(not to mention others), sometimes it takes a while to resolve. In
the past, I have tried to edit out the word {Spam} and push the post
through. Some days I don't have time to deal with them all. Hence
the attempt to send them back so the sender would know that there
either an error at their end or an ISP problem.

Unfortunately, a few have decided to take offence. On the other hand,
some do understand, and have asked what is going on.

Email is a hassle, folks. Talk to your IT people. Spam is the *vast
majority* of traffic on the net these days ... as much as 90% or
more. AOL by the way, is planning to charge incoming commerical
email to bypass their spam filters... They think they will make millions.

It is all a mess.

Thanks for those of you who understand and help.
