They already do. I can tune my Pioneer headend between radio and 
satellite with a push of a button. The "HD Ready" headends are ready 
for IBUZ and satellite. Push of a button. Both the Alpine and the JVC 
(scheduled for release today) don't even need outboard tuners for 
IBUZ. They do for Satellite.

The only issue I take is the damage from interference on AM during 
the decade or so transition. On the East Coast we can hear it already 
after sunset. Will there be an AM audience when full digital arrives? 
I still say let's run it 24/7 on AM and fix the problems as they 
arise rather than once it's too late to get the audience back.
