If only it were true. However, we have an ultra Conservative Mormon 
governor. He's not running again to prepare for a run at the White 
House. It'll be interesting to see Fundamentalist Christians deal 
with that. He brings his religion to work often. He's Republican. I 
picture Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell having to support a Democrat.

I have breakfast with a large group of friends. Many are 
Conservative. Fiscally conservative, socially moderate. They really 
do care if someone goes to bed hungry in the wealthiest nation on 
Earth. Our Conservatives seem to be the real ones, not the 
neo-conservatives we've grown to know and love. The ones who've 
bought the White House.

Who knows, we might be under the thumb of a Mormon Republican next 
time around. President Mitt Romney has a frightening ring to it. 
Willie and I just might agree on a candidate one day.
