Oh, I do think the broadcaster should be compensated. I'm a lot less sure
of "how much", but something. Because yes, the cable operator is
obtaining a benefit and more able to sell their services, based on having
the local station.

I'd like to know what law (or FCC reg) this violates - curiosity, is all.
I "know" it's probably illegal, but don't know what area of law covers
this.

It was "gone" then they decided to put an out of market ABC affiliate on.
I've heard various stories as to who decided to do this, but none that I
consider to be a "reliable source". Surely it will come out in time.

They do an OK job. Grandecom.com I think (or Grandecomm.com). They also
bundle internet and voip telephone services, and digital cable. I take
the analog cable.
