Alan, let me apologize to you and Paul if you thought I was being
critical of his feelings. The "bitter" part was factitious, but the part
about aiming high and good luck were and are heartfelt. We've all been
in that position at one point or another. Paul knows how I feel about
him and his abilities. He needs to focus on getting not just another
job, but a better job. He needs to find an organization that can take is
enthusiasm and natural talent, and help him grow professionally. He
needs what I once had, and that's mentor. Our business needs more people
like Paul. Makes those of us burned out has beens examine our thoughts
and practices.
