Paul B! Keep at it. Cultivate all the relationships you can. Ask
questions. The good employers will become evident to you. Target where
you want to go and who you want to work for and go after it. Don't
settle for mediocrity. Remember, your employer has to earn the
opportunity to employ you. Believe it or not, you have all the power
when it comes to choosing a place to work. It may sound strange, but you
need to put yourself in charge of this job search. Do your homework and
find a place where you can contribute and learn. Like I said, find a
mentor and listen well. And when the time is right, you can move on with
your employer's blessing and help. It's all in finding the right place.
I wish you well. If I can help, mail me off list and let me know what
exactly you want to accomplish.
Best of luck. You can do this.
