or fishing for an admission of guilt, since right now he has no evidence
that you committed any crime.  Just ignore him and let him gather enough
evidence on his own (doubtful he'll be able to) to secure a warrant.  Your
just helping his case by even talking to this guy!

Apparently its a different mindset that you get when you grow up in the
city, because we all know better then to trust/talk to cops, others seem to
enjoy digging their own graves.
