[BC] Question about trouble with an ex employer

Well...there are legal things they can do and things they can't.
If they libel or slander you, that would be a perfect opportunity for you
to acquire their stations.
Seriously, others have said to get a PO Box. I agree. It's a perfectly
legal address for them to send any official documents. Our primary mailing
address is a PO Box for security reasons. If someone needs to send
something by FedEx or UPS, it goes to my office. The decision is not based
on neighborhood issues or the like (we live in a really nice quiet area).
Rather, the mail box here is simply not weather proof and any mail is
subject to either getting wet or blown out of the box. And....I really
don't want large checks or important confidential documents coming to the
unsecure MB.
Also, they can't file petitions to deny just for spite. For PoD's to have
merit, they need to present substantive evidence which would show you as
being unfit to be a licensee. That's a very hard level of proof to present
and requires hard facts. Not unsubstantiated points of view and/or opinion
of character.
You must have done something seriously out of kilter with them to receive
this treatment. It's unusual.
