Elvira was on KHJ-KCAL and I was one of the tape people and occasionally
camera operator. 
The actress who played Elvira is a very very nice (and a red head , BTW)
lady.  We both had the same agent (I was doing voice overs at the time)
and she encouraged me when I auditioned for Cheers and when I got a part
on Golden Girls .
