I was in grade school... Myrtle the Bus Driver was who stands out in my
memory (sad).

I associate Dave Sholin with the Gavin Report... I remember Dave Diamond's
name, but nothing else... but I can still sing the "KLOK Ray-Dee-Oh" jingle.
Country, right? Bet it's what Mom & Dad had on in the car... small world,
small biz, afterall...

San Francisco is my home town. You probably remember "The Duke" Dave Sholin
at KLIV. I worked for KLOK in San Jose in 1970. Before that, in 1968, did
audio (put in the audio for KBHK Channel 44, Kaiser Broadcasting) for
Captain San Francisco. Captain Satellite was on KTVU if I remember
correctly. You might remember Dave Diamond on KFRC. I was his
producer/engineer in 1968-1969. I could go on forever but I'll leave it
there. :)
