I can't believe I forgot Knish.  A great example of creativity on the 
cheap.....Knish, for those who don't know, was an upside-down string mop 
with a wooden nose, possibly made from the handle of a garden shovel, or 
similar, with a black "cape" around its "shoulders".  Knish entertained us 
kids for years...
I also still have my "Daniel C. Tiger" hand puppet that my parents got me. 
That associates with the Josie Carey/Fred Rogers show on KD and later WQED.
And yes, I believe Captain Jim was Ted Eckman, not Jim.
