That reminds me of an alarm system on a local store back in the 80's. A 
friend told me that if you drove by with your CB keyed up, it would broadcast your 
voice like a PA system. Sure enough, it did! <g>

I also had gotten a comment or two from coworkers at a former place of 
employment... each morning, they knew I was there, when I'd pull into the parking 
lot while transmitting on the CB. They could hear me over the building PA. (Also 
early 80's. I've been off CB since about 1986.)

About a year ago, I heard a sudden buzz in the studio monitors that popped on 
& off like someone using a PTT. Sure enough, a local Ham had parked in our 
lot, (he was there to visit) and was finishing-up a QSO on 2 meters. He was 
rather startled when I came outside and told him I heard his carrier on the studio 
monitors. ;) (Thankfully, it was only affecting the amplified speakers, 
themselves, not the air chain.)
