Hi ya Kids, Hi ya, hi ya!

It was called "The Buster Brown Show" when it came on the air in 1950. In 1951 it was re-titled "Smilin' Ed McConnell and His Gang", When Ed died in 1955 Andy Devine became the host and the show was renamed "Andy's Gang." Andy's Gang remained on the air until September of 1960. This is right out of the Complete Encyclopedia of Television Programs 1947-1979. Frank Ferrin (producer/director since the beginning of the show) became the voice of Froggy the Gremlin after Ed's death.

This is a fun site with audio, pics and all. Enjoy!

Indeed! And always spoken by "Smilin'" Ed McConnell who hosted the
show every Saturday morning sponsored by the old Brown Shoe Co. of
St. Louis who made the shoe where Buster lived.
