RON DOTO SR posted info about the fifties' kid's show featuring Froggy The
Gremlin, Midnight The Cat, etc.

This was sponsored by Buster Brown Shoes and the host was 'Smilin' Ed
McConnell.

I remember it very well. Seems to me it was on in the late forties into the
early fifties.

The intro included the following if memory serves me:

"Hi, kids, I'm Buster Brown and I live in a shoe! This is my dog 'Tige,'
look for him in there too!"  Of course, Tige went arf, arf, when his name
was mentioned.

Great show but not as much fun for me as Let's Pretend with Marjorie Harm or
Big John and Sparky!
