[BC] Space Patrol...

When I was about 12 years old I was taken down to KABC-TV, I think it 
was KECA-TV then, TV studios on Prospect and Talmadge.  I was turned 
loose on the stage where Space Patrol was done - live of course.  I 
went into the space ship and made myself at home.  I happened to have 
a large, black bottle cap in my pocket so I set it on the "Control 
Console" of the space ship.  The next night when I watched the 
program and Commander Buzz Corey took off in his space ship the 
bottle cap was still there.  In the process of taking off he turned 
the bottle cap which caused the ship to accelerate.  And here I'd 
been running around with that thing in my pocket!  Little did I know!
