The Time for Beany Show first aired on KTLA in Los Angeles in February
1949. Now Burt, I saw that origional set. It was in the same studio as
the Gil Martin News. Do you know the stage name of the guy who played
the music for the Time for Beany Show. His real name John Red and
recorded under the name of Juan Rolando. He was made famous by Klaus
Landsburg when he sent him to the Paramount costume shop and told him to
come up with a gimick. He had more hours on television in the early days
than anyone else and never spoke a word. Who was he?
