..and through the 60's and early 70's. I know, because I always wore Buster 
Browns. (I insisted on them!) Funny thing is, I had forgotten all about that 
until a classmate from Elementary school reminded me! LOL! I remember the 
commercials on TV, too. I wonder why the brand eventually failed?
