Didn't full participation in Winky Dink include putting a piece of plastic
over the CRT?  IIRC, they would send a "secret" message or picture, in
segments.  If you had their plastic gizmo over your screen and traced the
segments throughout the program, it would, eventually, form a message or
picture.  Boy, you blew out some cobwebs there.
