Are you building studios for these channels? Or is it a computer in the equipment rack? Are you using more resources of the Automation software? Jamming a Winamp playlist full of songs and an ID? Is the audio being delivered over your STL? I keep reading about all of these stations multicasting but nobody has ever said how they are running these new stations. Anyone wish to enlighten me with their setup?

We are running Prophet NexGen, not WinAmp. In HD2, our box is also an
Importer, where it takes the audio and converts it to a TCP IP stream.
That stream is sent out to the transmitter via a LanLink STL where it is
sent into the transmitter exporter via a network connection. It stays
digital. We are presently using the current studios we have. Since it
JUST came up we have not added people, but in the future we are not sure
yet. This is too new yet.
Does that help?
