[BC] Small market attitudes

Like we used to say, "welcome to the Delta". If your grandparents
grandparents weren't born in Cleveland, you're an outsider. Oh,
they'll do business with you if they have to, but if you're not a
"local", forget about it. Chances are the billboard guy is a
relative, and the Yellow Pages fellow goes to his church. You on the
otherhand, get a limp handshake and crumbs from the floor.
And there are a few morons who think that just listening to your
station is "supporting it".
I have never regretted leaving. Haven't been back since 1980,
although I do owe J Boyd a visit.
