Yes, and the BP (Broadcast Programming) was originally a part of IGM.
It was split off and became BPI.  By the late 80s, it was owned by 
Kaye-Smith Broadcasting (entertainer Danny Kaye), then someone bought them out.

By this time, BPI seemed to be buying out everyone who was still 
syndicating formats by reel.  When we put in their AC format in 87, 
the reels came with Peters Productions stickers.

There was a connection between BPI and Format Sentry (they were at 
least selling it, if it wasn't put out by the same ownership); and I 
have a fuzzy memory Broadcast Engineering may have owned BPI for a 
time.  They were beginning to get into satellite syndication before 
Jones bought them out.  I think Delilah and Lia started with BP before Jones.

As far as the original poster's question about their oldies CDs... we 
were always pleased when we had their music service, although we 
didn't specifically have the oldies series.
