Gary,
Your description of Frank could not be any more correct. When he and
I worked on a project together he was like a little kid in his
enthusiasm. It was indeed infectious.
One day not to long ago Frank and I were sitting in my car waiting
for the Spectrum Analyzer to capture an intermittent spurious
signal. While we were waiting, the subject of GPS and WAAS came
up. As you know Frank was quite a navigator and had taken many
courses on the subject. He pulled the little pad of paper out of his
pocket - you know the one he always carried, and drew some charts and
curves representing the variations between the different Datums
used. That little piece of paper is sitting in front of my computer.
