Hi Dave,

Not all CD players can deal with CD-RW discs.  Have you been able to play
any CD-RWs in that machine?  The Marantz PMD340 is one that explicitly
claims to play these.  I Googled up the Sony player and none of the
descriptions I found mentioned CD-RW.  It may be you're tilting at a
windmill here..  Sorry!
