Well, there's a U-67 on Ebay (just checked) going for $3,750 bucks. It's the tube model.

  I did have a U-47. I bought it for $200 bucks in 1971. I sold it 2 years ago 
  on Ebay for $4,660! It was a Neumann from the 60's AND it was the Nuvistor 
  retrofit no less. The guy who bought it took it back to the original tube 
  version.

  Do you know of Klaus Heyne? He rebuilt my U-87. You should hear it now. Cost 
  $1,600 but it was WELL worth it.
  I won't argue with you on the sound of a U-47 but this 87 I have is pretty 
  darn close.

     I have 13  U-87's
    Telefunkin is the Only real Microphone....  U-47
     wish I owned one of them.
