Yeah... in 1996 we went with one of the early dalet systems. At that time
Digigram had a few different soundcards, IIRC we got the cheapest at 3500$,
a single unbal. audio in and out pair per card.. The top of the line at
that time from them was 11k, but had 8 audio in/out pairs (which could all
run concurrently), in toth analog and digital formats... It hasn't missed a
beaat in years, however, it was a pain to set up...

The last PC Audio system for a radio station I built I use Audio Science. I
really like them.
I receltley have had good luck with MAudio equipment, they make USB and
Firewire audio boxes.
I also noticed that some production boards are now coming with USB or
Firewire interfaces that give you 2 or more audio channels to the PC.
Thangs sure have changed since the first PC Audio Editors, which shock were
15-16 years ago. 1990.
