[BC] Re: George H. Brown book

In reference to the recent discussion here about George H. Brown's
wonderful book "And Part of Which I Was: Recollections of a Research
Engineer", the original book was published in 1979. A revised limited
edition of 100 copies was issued in 1982. The revised edition contained
a provision on the copyright page to allow for hand numbering of each
copy. I just noticed that one copy from that edition (#11 of 100) is
currently being offered for sale at one of the more well known on-line
dealers of rare, used and out-of-print books. The price is $299.95!

I am very fortunate to have recently acquired #4 of 100 from this
special edition for my own collection. My copy has a very nice
handwritten dedication "...to my old friend and colleague, Woody". It
was signed and dated by the author in November 1982.
