Was listening to a station in The UK (it shall remain nameless) and at the
top of everyhour for 2 or 3 hours in a row, I heard 3 1/2 minutes of dead air.
Well, OK.. not dead air.. just a short tone every 10 seconds.
One hour, it was all tones for about 90 seconds then went into a "sport
match" for 30 or so seconds and back into tones before abruptly going into a
jingle then a song.
The DJ made it sound live by mentioning peoples names, but it was obviously
voicetracked.
