Right, but this "little town" that I live in is more than 100 years old,and
the local TELCO has been changing and improving things here right along, and
they manage to make it work. And, cable TV isn't 100 years old. I'm getting
good product and good service for $30/month.
I can even plug in to the cable and listen to a variety of FM stations if I
like as well as the grand variety of nonsense available on the regular TV
channels. That's too bad, I have a big TV down here and it gets turned on
maybe once a week. However, my wife makes up the difference, she keeps at
least two sets on around the place for background noise as she works around
the house.
