No, actually it would mean the VP went UP and the period stayed the
same. <ggg> This was coax with that special insulator mined out of
an asteroid were Capt. Kirk stopped for diLithium when he ran low.
If you use enough, the VP becomes high enough to observe time travel
effects and if you connect it to the Transporter you may be able to
travel backward in time and discover reverse entropy. That should
make you even richer than playing Power Ball when you know the
winning numbers. See what happens when I'm going to sleep as I answer 
the question? Ah, well .... back on my meds now. <g>

Really, I was thinking about cutting the coax open and watching 
the wave crests pass. Oh, well.... 

I liked your explanation though. Running on the beach would be nice. 
I'd even settle for running slowly in WARM ocean water. Last night 
it was ZERO here and a few minutes ago it was all of +12. The real
explanation is I'd just come inside and my brain was still frozen. <g>
