Which was one of the pleasures of working for X-Star. Our boss and the 
network's inspiration, Dr. Jim King, was an engineer at heart. He knew what 
we were about, and had been involved to a great extent in the engineering 
end of the network's development over the decades. We never felt like, and 
weren't, second cousins. Whenever Doc made a organizational chart, our 
department was attached directly to his name at the top of the tree.
