[BC] Cellphones getting better?

I work in the industry. Trust me, they are still complaining.
But seriously, the cellular industry is maturing and many companies
(mine included) are now focusing on keeping the customers they have
instead of just waiting for new ones to walk in the door. The market, in
spite of mergers and buyouts is still very competitive. Plus with number
portability, that is, the ability of the subscriber to take their number
with them, more emphasis on reducing "churn" is a focus. Don't get me
wrong, we still sell like crazy, it's just that now that the industry in
no longer "new", aggressive customer service is more important. Our
company has worked hard to provide a "one call solution" for subscribers
with issues. The idea is to fix it right the first time. From the
numbers I see, for us, at least, it's working.
