Heh, heh. In this case I believe STA means Self Transmitting Audacity. <g>
But, since the FCC overlooks many more serious violations, they seem to
look the other way on this one too. A local service is performed, and
that is becoming more rare in radio these days. <g> I would never advise
a client to do it, but if I heard it I'm not sure I do anything more
than mention the risk to the client. The licensee is responsible and
it is a $4,000 fine for unauthorized emissions if caught.
