Those of you with daytimers authorized for "flea power" at night should be
aware that the FCC has (in at least one case) allowed two-site operation
with a short (18 degree) nondirectional antenna at the night site.  AFAIK,
this is OK as long as you file a new application for the second site, you
keep the service contour of the night facility within that of the daytime,
and you show that the skywave interference to protected stations is not
worse than it would be using authorized night power at the daytime site.

So, if your main site is too far outside of town to provide effective night
service with 50 watts (or whatever), you might be able to build an
inexpensive stick in the business district and put the flea power where
people actually live.  Keep it short enough (like 30 feet) and, depending on
local regulations, it might not even have to go through zoning.
