If I had a dollar for every Right-Wing.........Blah, maybe I should be reading the stupid listeners thread ehh?
 
If the power goes out in downtown Albuquerque and Progressive Talk 1350 AM is off the air listeners always accuse the "Right Wingers" of a conspiracy to silence whoever is on the air. Doesnt matter that the utility company cant keep up with demand........
 
They don't understand anything that makes sense good luck explaining inversion......

In fact, this very problem was brought to my attention years ago while I was
running 30 foot AGL FM field strength measurements on Long Island, using a
remote truck I had rented from a station in Philadelphia.  Some guy in
Suffolk County, who was out mowing his front lawn, noticed the truck,
started acting suspicious, and came over to see what I was up to.   Seems he
was a hardcore Pacifica fan and wanted to know why a sappy music station in
Wilmington was allowed by the FCC to blow away WBAI, "the only station worth
listening to", so I attempted to explain temperature inversions.  But I'm
not sure I convinced him this was not evidence of a right-wing conspiracy.
