I owned a chopped B-3 when I was lead singer and
keyboard player for "The Titans" back in the early '70's.
There was nothing in the bottom two feet of the B-3 except
the wooden legs, the volume pedal, and the array of
switches for the bass pedals. Rockers such as myself
had no need for the pedals, so we'd just cut the bottom off.

    No respect. . .

I got to see Jimmy the last two times he was in Boston
before he passed. I've been a fan since my teens.

At one of the shows, I had taken a close friend who is
(ahem) quite large. The venue was on the second
floor of a building (Cambridge House of Blues).

At the intermission, my friend had to leave, so we were
going down the stairs. We were half-way down, when
skinny little Jimmy himself started coming up. He saw
my friend, and said, "Whoa, sh*t, look what's comin' down!"
and backed down out of the way.

We still laugh about that.
