Too bad Abramoff is no longer in business, although his rates were sort of
steep for the typical daytimer...
The two-site Class D station I mentioned is WSIV 1540 in East Syracuse, NY.
WSIV holds a CP to move the daytime site into Syracuse as well, but will
retain the separate night site with the 18 degree antenna because that's
closer to the target demographic community. At authorized night power of 57
watts, the theoretical efficiency is still 73 mV/meter at 1 km. Based on
my listening tests, I figure it serves over 100,000 people with a viable
signal.
