[BC] FM Exciters (Pic's)

I am familiar with both of these -- would have preferred a pic showing more, as both were closeups.  The AEL FM-20 I lived with for over 12 years.  It originally would have the nasty habit of getting an AFC unlock which would put us off the air.  I would tear into it and put it back together, then it would work for a few days or a few weeks and do the same thing.  One nght I was running an audio oscillator into it and accidentally switched the range to x1, putting about 10 Hz into it and it unlocked.  Eureka!  So, I wired a capacitor in series from the composite input and that took care of the problem.  

The Gates TE-3 I worked with in the early 70's as part of an FM-10H3.  A vast improvement over the TE-1, but still kind of clunky.
