We were remoting the FM transmitter for the first time and using a Moseley
PCL-303/C composite STL. The exciter (as the photo showed) has a stereo
generator module, but no composite input. We opened up the exciter and
brought out a BNC for the composite input. When we pulled the stereo
generator and connected our new composite input to the STL receiver, it
hummed like mad due to the ground loop. Our solution was to run the
composite stereo through a WE 111-C transformer. Worked great!

Harold:
I did the same thing but I used a UTC-LS series 600:600 transformer.
Interesting that neither transformer affected the bandwidth to 53 kHz. from the
composite STL.
